This site complies with the World Wide Web Consortium standards as much as possible. Specific standards used are XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2.1 and the code has been checked with Firefox, Opera, Galeon, Konqueror, Safari, and IE 6.0. Internet Explorer 6.0 cannot render some content properly. Newer IE may work, I don't know. IE fails to display the U.S. Constitution page properly by not placing the right hand blue menu to the right, where it belongs, but rather to the left, covering the text of the Constitution. IE also fails to display UTF-8 encoded text properly. UTF-8 is the default of XHTML and should be well supported.

If this were a commercial site I might try to accommodate IE's shortcomings; since it is not I don't feel compelled to address Microsoft's … feel free to fill in some adjectives and nouns here. W3C compliant browsers are readily available for Windows. Please use one of them.
